Just keep walking

Today I went on a walk, but I was wearing my PE kit so no good pictures came from it. Anyway I found these lovely pictures of people looking like they are on walks; through woods and such, I find them beautiful. Does anyone else just love weheartit? X

I took about 50 pictures and this is the only one that turned out OK; so my camera kept on making it blurry or too light and I'm pulling the oddest faces in the others. I am just not very photogenic, I mean in this one I'm smiling like I'm going to school for the first time? Anyway I got looks of lovely comments about the dress on the tree, so I thought I would show you it on me; this is also what I wore to graduate fashion week but forgot to take a picture of. As soon as I saw the dress in the shop I fell in love with it, I loved the colour, the peter pan collar and the cute buttons. It is inevitable you will see more better pictures of this dress, maybe in some photos I have taken at the allotment or whenever.

Inside mums wardrobe: Scarves

I haven't done one of these in a while so I thought I would; I was looking though the cupboard when a came across a bag of them. A bag full of 30 year old scarves, some weren't that nice but there were a few lovely ones. Two of the scarves pictured are cotton but one is silk; also yesterday I found loads of awesome fabric which during the holidays I shall make into; a blazer; 3 dresses; a skirt and a play suit. Course work day tomorow- Horrahh!! X

Yayyy, I'm am rather pleased with myself because today I went on a run, now all I have to do is keep it up for 3 months, great! (Sarcastic). Not the best day to go running, with it being the hottest day of the year so far but, blahh. The rest of the was spent; reading; lounging in the sun; dreaming of the beach; and on an epic search for materials in the loft. By now you probably would be able to predict what shoes I wore, my wedges!! I wore a different straw hat though . X

My 2010 summer wardrobe essentials

The basics of my summer wardrobe:
  • 2 floaty dresses,
  • a playsuit,
  • 3 plain vests,
  • wedges,
  • 4 pairs of sunglasses (I can never have enough),
  • And of course a straw boater but me being me, when I carried them all to the tree I wore it on my head, then forgot to put it on the tree.
What I still need:
  • A pair of ripped denim shorts.
And here is my tree, which is where I find all my clothes, I go to bed and when I wake up it's covered in clothes!! Haha jk.

What I wore today, well in the evening anyway; I am experimenting with the leggings as trousers look that everyone goes for, but it's not really my thing.

When I went to london graduate fashion week, we got given these cards, every graduate made one and they have their names on the back. And well, they're all amazing; how they managed to cut down their whole collection into one post card sized peice of card I don't know. Any ways, I find them really inspiring so I thought I would share some with you; I may add more later on. X

I got a half day off today because my supervisor left work early, yayyy! Which was good, as I did 2 hours ironing and watched a bit of the match. However boring it was, there was nothing else on (shrugs shoulders). At the bottom you can see me being keenly patriotic- COME ON ENGLAND!! ha ha I really don't really care to be honest but it would be nice if England win. Anyway today I decided to keep it simple, you may notice the change in shoes because, although wedges look good in photos, they are not the best shoes to pick strawberries in. X

Fancy a game of croquet?

Sorry about the rubbish effects, it was an experiment. Yesterday I went to a national trust house near where I live with my family for a walk around the gardens; perfect excuse for some pictures. When we got there, we saw a lovely sign saying "Fancy a game of croquet?" and well who could resist. Had to include atleast one picture of the deer, they look so cute, this one is asleep. X

Heart tights and geek glasses

I am truly addicted to these heart tights, they are permanently attached to my legs. Anyway this is what I wore yesterday, not very exciting I admit; when I went shopping with Chloe (go check out her fabulous blog and leave her a comment!! ) and Holly. I didn't buy anything but spent money how does this work? Also we stopped at Costa Coffee, this is what I had but the cakes were to share.
I am starting my work experience tomorrow, which should be fun and I have been featured on Fashion my legs, which is an amazing blog about tights and hosiery; have a look at the post here... X

Blogging ain't easy

When I first started blogging, I was looking around the blogs when I came across this blog, that explained blogging as a chore. Blogging isn't easy (hence the picture), but you do it because you enjoy it. I started a blog because I enjoyed sharing my opinion, I wanted make myself to gain more confidence to look good in the clothes I owned, and because I wanted to experiment with my photography. And to be honest if I found it a chore, I wouldn't blog, sometimes I believe people only have a blog because they want to be famous- in my opinion this isn't right. People should blog because they enjoy it, not to get the most comments and followers, that should just be an added extra. This is just my opinion, it is their blog, so they can post what they want but I just thought I would share my opinion; if you disagree just say. At this point I will stop with the blabbering and thank all my 16 followers and everyone who comments; they each make my day!! X

Petticoat and wedges

Just some pictures of an outfit I want to wear, I really like layering the dress and skirt, it makes it fun. Yet again I am wearing my wedges, I am addicted to the tallness. He he, in most of these photos I am holding my hair, that's probably be because I am quite awkward in front of a camera (don't know what to do), actually I am getting better at it. Shopping tomorrow, should be good and summer is almost here!! X

Don't know about you but I find these pictures really inspiring, they make me want to go down to the park and take pictures in pretty clothes. Chloe, if your reading this do you want to go down to the park and take random pictures, this weekend sometime? I like the bonnet and the big dresses!
Next week I am going on my work expirence to the Labs where my dad works, it should be interesting but I know I probally don't won't to get a job in one when I'm older. I have been excited for a while about wearing work clothes, I found out yesterday I have to wear scruffy clothes and a lab coat. No way near as exciting but... X
