Day 1, London

I don't find Halloween that exciting, so I'm just going to ignore it and save all my energy for Christmas. Anyway here are a few pictures of my first day in London, I spent my train journey knitting, got several odd looks but I don't care because at least when the frost comes my neck will be incredibly warm. We also went to Covent Gardens where I treated myself to some lush goodies, I bought the snow fairy shower gel last year, it was amazing, so I bought it again.
Tomorrow I go back to school, after this holiday, which hasn't felt like a holiday at all, as I've been busy every day. Although somewhere I have managed to squeeze in 3 Harry Potter films, just this weekend, as this movie draws closer, I am becoming more obsessed. That is that thing with me, I become obsessed really easily, past obsessions include sheep and socks- I am a perfectly normal child. xx

My Birthday!!!!

On Friday Kakay and I went around our local town searching for jobs, I got an interview but overall no job. So we came back to my house and took some pictures, the basic kind of theme was how a hat can change the feel of an outfit; the last two pictures are of the gorgeous Kakay. Anyway on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; I walked 48km with a homongous backpack on and sleep in a tent, to top this all of on Monday night I went to see The Midnight Beast- they were amazing. Then I woke up this morning to find some wonderful presents; a tripod, Elle subscription, unhealthy food, JWs hoodie, more unhealthy food and money. My dad being my dad took me to the bank to open an isa account (Still not quite sure what it is) then the rest of the day was spent in front of the tv watching Harry Potter, Monsters Inc and crying at Sex in the City. Tomorrow, at around 10 I'm going to London; to conclude this half term has been and will hopefully continue to be amazing!! Sorry about not being around but expect to see a new post sometime at the weekend. Thankyou XX

Old lace curtains

Some picture me and Chloe took years ago, with the runaway bride kind of feel, we are just that cool. She had some old lace which she suspected were some old curtains and well to make it you just wrapped it round you, then attached it in place with a long strip of the lace in a bow kind of shape. These pictures, are quite mysterious and rather dark, not very happy like a lot of the pictures I've posted recently, not sure what has happened but I will try to post more uplifting happy pictures, from now on. Falling leaves

Does anyone else love it when the trees all turn orange and the ground is covered in crunchy brown leaves. On Saturday I went to this park with Holly and Steph, here are some of the picutures, I think they have some british, autumn vibe. The weather has been pretty good recently, I'm just wishing it stays like this in two weeks time. X

Woolly Hats

I can officially prance around in in my woolly hats and thick socks because it is cold. I have to wear two pairs of tights, some rather lovely mittens and my horrible coat to school. I can also get excited about Christmas (don't you dare tell me it is too early). Anyway here are some gorgeous pictures of layers, woolly bodies, cool hats and browny colours.
Yesterday I had my schools sixth form open evening, and well I have no idea what to take. I really don't like the fact that what I take affects my whole life, I could be closing doors, especially since I'm not taking any creative subjects. At the moment it is chemistry, Biology, Physics and French; any advice?
I'm thinking of doing a giveaway soon, but not really sure what, so I am on a search for something amazing.

Maxi skirt and cricket jumper

On Sunday I got back from a very wet D of E, to find my internet has gone strange (I've tried about 4 times to upload these pictures- it failed every time, until now obviously). These pictures are yet another result of taking pictures in the dark, each one has a different effect, I didn't edit them, this is the way they are. I am wearing a striped maxi dress, which looks like a skirt and a cricket jumper- £3 from Primark, BARGAIN, with a few vintage brooches attached. At the moment I have been given tons of homework so you may not see me for some time. XX

Today it has rained non stop and this weekend I'm hiking for 12 hours, lovely.
So anyway out of laziness I'm not going to take any outfit pictures, so I'm just going to tell you about my volunteer job. Basically I had to volunteer for an hour a week somewhere for my D of E and out of the 7 other charity shops in my town, I chose Banardos. Which happened be a brilliant choice because about a month after I started a new manager took over. What she then did was turn the upstairs (used to be mens) into a vintage shop. It is such a gorgeous place full of; bunting across the ceiling; an old wardrobe full of beautiful clothes; postcards stuck to the walls and about a million gorgeous scarfs. What makes it even more wonderful though is that it has all been donated, it is proof that you can find all this in a normal charity shop.
So far with my staff discount I have bought a sleeveless cardi and a book. The book was £2 and at the front of the book there is an adorable letter wishing someone Merry Christmas from 1935. I decided to cut a hole in it to hide my friends birthday present. Think about it afterwards I searched it on the internet only to find it was on ebay for £30, am I stupid or what? Take my advice and don't cut a first edition book from 1935. X

We heart it
