I want everything Alexa Chung for Madewell and a hat.

Unfortunatly my purse does not have this much money in, however I am spending Friday searching for a job, so you never know... But I will probally have to find cheaper versions somewhere else. Anyway I have to go, so expect to see me on Friday- the October half term starts. Happy, Happy, Happy. XX

Woolly Hats

I can officially prance around in in my woolly hats and thick socks because it is cold. I have to wear two pairs of tights, some rather lovely mittens and my horrible coat to school. I can also get excited about Christmas (don't you dare tell me it is too early). Anyway here are some gorgeous pictures of layers, woolly bodies, cool hats and browny colours.
Yesterday I had my schools sixth form open evening, and well I have no idea what to take. I really don't like the fact that what I take affects my whole life, I could be closing doors, especially since I'm not taking any creative subjects. At the moment it is chemistry, Biology, Physics and French; any advice?
I'm thinking of doing a giveaway soon, but not really sure what, so I am on a search for something amazing.

Today it has rained non stop and this weekend I'm hiking for 12 hours, lovely.
So anyway out of laziness I'm not going to take any outfit pictures, so I'm just going to tell you about my volunteer job. Basically I had to volunteer for an hour a week somewhere for my D of E and out of the 7 other charity shops in my town, I chose Banardos. Which happened be a brilliant choice because about a month after I started a new manager took over. What she then did was turn the upstairs (used to be mens) into a vintage shop. It is such a gorgeous place full of; bunting across the ceiling; an old wardrobe full of beautiful clothes; postcards stuck to the walls and about a million gorgeous scarfs. What makes it even more wonderful though is that it has all been donated, it is proof that you can find all this in a normal charity shop.
So far with my staff discount I have bought a sleeveless cardi and a book. The book was £2 and at the front of the book there is an adorable letter wishing someone Merry Christmas from 1935. I decided to cut a hole in it to hide my friends birthday present. Think about it afterwards I searched it on the internet only to find it was on ebay for £30, am I stupid or what? Take my advice and don't cut a first edition book from 1935. X

We heart it

This world has gone so see through

I'm a rubbish blogger and there is no excuse really, Year 11 is hard and I get a lot of homework but I think what I have been doing is just wasting my time doing pointless things. I really need to learn to be more productive with my time because this always seems to happen in the past few days I've done nothing yet could have done loads...
Anyway, I've been wanting a tailors dummy/ mannequin for ages but with my purse being so small I've never been able to afford one. However, my Grandma volunteers is a charity shop where one was donated so she snapped it up for me, at only £5. I adore the bottom of it, the top is a little faded but it has clothes on it all the time so you don't even see but I love it. Although it does get a bit scary when you see it in the dark (I'm a wimp). XX

Summer 2010

Most of you have already finished for summer (so jealous!!) but for me it's another 9 days (yes, I'm counting), of school! So I have compromised a list to help me prepare for summer of everything that I want to do this year. Because then I won't forget anything and then a took a photo of it, with some of the things that I like at the moment. I think if you click on it, it will enlarge, but apart from that, I might type it up later? Anyway of to watch Mary Queen of Shops- you have to watch this program, it's sooo funny. XX

Playing with fire

An amazing night which involved; camping in my back garden; a tent that smelt of fish; smores; campfire songs; scaring each other; watching the sun rise; BBQ; and a broken camera. Overall a very good night, below are some of the pictures I took at the campfire. Notes: I like long camera shutters and I am experimenting with my picture shapes. OMG tomorrow I'm going to London!!X

Sex and the City 2

I have finally finished all my exams, so hopefully I will soon be back to blogging daily. Anyway I have a weeks holiday and I plan to spend it wisely. Spending the weekend visiting family; camping in my back garden with friend; going on walks and shopping. I have been watching Sex and the City since I saw the film last year, I've borrowed my friends DVD's and am now onto series four- it is so addictive. Today, the second film came out and we went to see it, unfortunately it wasn't as good as I thought. There were lots of moments where I wanted to scream at the screen but other than that I spent the rest of the time laughing, because it was hilarious. Their outfits were sometimes a little odd, one lady did resemble a chicken but mostly they wore amazing dresses. I am trying not to ruin the film for you but my favourite outfits had to be the ones from the flashback scene- if you don't want to see it don't scroll down, I guess this is probally a bit late but sorry, I'm too tired to care. Snow globes

I thought today as I'm in a bit of a rush I would share with you a random fact about me. I like to collect things, especially snow globes, random rubbish and marbles. And I have no idea why- but they are pretty and good souvenirs; I buy a snow globe from basically everywhere I go the other month I had 50! my friends get me them and so does my dad; my favourite has to be the one I got from Disneyland Florida, I mean, it has a picture of me in. So i took some pictures of them to share with you, bear in mind I'm not a photographer, don't have a good camera and snow globes are really had to picture. What do you collect?
P.s. Tonight I am very excited as I'm helping out at this frock swap thing with a friend.
