Bowler hats, floral jackets and bird box bags

It is the holidays now so I have some time, so I've finally managed to post these pictures. Also yesterday me and Chloe went on a walk to my dads allotment and took some pictures there so expect them fairly soon. Anyway the jacket was the main reason for this outfit, I really wanted to wear it but it is incredibly hard to wear because it is so different and has shoulder pads. It's too big for me so I gathered it a bit at the back. I hope you all have a good holiday and goodbye. xx

I'm very sorry, I haven't blogged in ages, I'm quite surprised I haven't lost any followers (THANK YOU). I hope you all had amazing new years. Anyway in these pictures I am wearing a dress that I made on Boxing day with used wrapping paper from the day before and an awful lot of selotape. It could have been better but there is only so much you do with paper. The hat is from the Urban Outfitters sale and it is rather lovely; the blazer I bought from a charity shop ages ago. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and goodbye. xxx

At the weekend I went to Derbyshire and took a few pictures of one of my outfits. It isn't very exciting and I would have worn my hat but my cousins kept stealling it and teasing me for wearing granny clothes. Which I really don't mind because I like granny clothes. The dress is from asos, the boots Bertie and the scarf I knitted myself, it is so unbelievably warm but took so long to knit. xxx

Day 1, London

I don't find Halloween that exciting, so I'm just going to ignore it and save all my energy for Christmas. Anyway here are a few pictures of my first day in London, I spent my train journey knitting, got several odd looks but I don't care because at least when the frost comes my neck will be incredibly warm. We also went to Covent Gardens where I treated myself to some lush goodies, I bought the snow fairy shower gel last year, it was amazing, so I bought it again.
Tomorrow I go back to school, after this holiday, which hasn't felt like a holiday at all, as I've been busy every day. Although somewhere I have managed to squeeze in 3 Harry Potter films, just this weekend, as this movie draws closer, I am becoming more obsessed. That is that thing with me, I become obsessed really easily, past obsessions include sheep and socks- I am a perfectly normal child. xx

Falling leaves

Does anyone else love it when the trees all turn orange and the ground is covered in crunchy brown leaves. On Saturday I went to this park with Holly and Steph, here are some of the picutures, I think they have some british, autumn vibe. The weather has been pretty good recently, I'm just wishing it stays like this in two weeks time. X

You can't see the leaves but they have just dropped a load on my head.

Today it has rained non stop and this weekend I'm hiking for 12 hours, lovely.
So anyway out of laziness I'm not going to take any outfit pictures, so I'm just going to tell you about my volunteer job. Basically I had to volunteer for an hour a week somewhere for my D of E and out of the 7 other charity shops in my town, I chose Banardos. Which happened be a brilliant choice because about a month after I started a new manager took over. What she then did was turn the upstairs (used to be mens) into a vintage shop. It is such a gorgeous place full of; bunting across the ceiling; an old wardrobe full of beautiful clothes; postcards stuck to the walls and about a million gorgeous scarfs. What makes it even more wonderful though is that it has all been donated, it is proof that you can find all this in a normal charity shop.
So far with my staff discount I have bought a sleeveless cardi and a book. The book was £2 and at the front of the book there is an adorable letter wishing someone Merry Christmas from 1935. I decided to cut a hole in it to hide my friends birthday present. Think about it afterwards I searched it on the internet only to find it was on ebay for £30, am I stupid or what? Take my advice and don't cut a first edition book from 1935. X

We heart it

These are some pictures of me, Chloe, Holly and Steph; from a while ago after we went out for a meal. This is just a normal night for us, God we are weird. I can't imagine what my neighbours would think, if they saw us from there window. Ok, I'm showing you these pictures because I adore taking pictures in the dark, when it has a long exposure and everything looks a bit grainy. Anyway we went for the scary theme, ghosts, animals and inside the mind; all and all it was a good night.

I don't know what to say, at the moment I seem to be unsure of everything, I don't know what to do and I'm not feeling that well. I baked some cakes a while ago, I enjoyed that but now I don't know what to do, I'm scared. To blog or not to blog? I've decided to stick to the obvious answer- I'm going to carry on but not very often, I will try, but it may not work. At the moment my life is starting to get very busy, in October I am spending 5 days hiking (D of E), so I can't blog then. I'm going to London only for 3 nights and well don't want to waste any precious time, of course I will talk about ti afterwards. I hope you understand, I'm sorry; here are some pretty pictures and a tagging thing to keep you occupied. Also I'm not going to say I'm sorry for not bloging in any more posts because it is boring you and me. XX

This world has gone so see through

I'm a rubbish blogger and there is no excuse really, Year 11 is hard and I get a lot of homework but I think what I have been doing is just wasting my time doing pointless things. I really need to learn to be more productive with my time because this always seems to happen in the past few days I've done nothing yet could have done loads...
Anyway, I've been wanting a tailors dummy/ mannequin for ages but with my purse being so small I've never been able to afford one. However, my Grandma volunteers is a charity shop where one was donated so she snapped it up for me, at only £5. I adore the bottom of it, the top is a little faded but it has clothes on it all the time so you don't even see but I love it. Although it does get a bit scary when you see it in the dark (I'm a wimp). XX

Stalked by Ladybirds

So far this year I have encountered about a million ladybird and that is why I'm spamming you with ladybird pictures. This was on a walk so not the most stylish outfit, didn't want to fall in cow pat and wreck it up. This was on the Wednesday when I also had a lovely pub lunch and you can see I customised my boater a bit with a piece of corn- I know imaginative or what? On the Thursday I went to the Zoo but I'm not going to bore you with pictures of monkeys, although I may show you an adorable video of a penguin, it's so cute.
Today was my first day back at school, I liked seeing people but you know there are always the horrible people who think they are better than everyone else, that is why I can't wait to get off to University or somewhere, only 3 more years to go...
Tomorrow, the charity shop I volunteer in, is opening a vintage shop, so I'm going to that, there is also a vintage fair in my town, so I'm there and to top it all of I'm going to my grandmas to pick up something amazing. I have lots to tell you, I'll be back tomorrow night. XX

Woo, school tomorrow, excited much! (Please note Sarcasm here)

Since making this blog I have ended up with a uniform of pretty dresses, so thats why I'm wearing this, a change. It isn't as feminine as the other clothes I wear, yet it is still me; the shorts I can remember admiring in the Jack Wills catalogue for £55, which is way out off my price range, so when they went in the sale for £25 I had to snap them up. Although that is still a lot for just a pair of shorts but they are amazing quality and unlike other Jack Wills purcases, everybody walking down the street doesn't have them. X

P.S The lovely Michelle from 'The Fashion Fledgling' featured me on her (awesome) blog, so check it out!! here
