Light in the dark

Last night I was a bit bored so decided to go into the garden; armed with a camera, fairy lights and an extension lead. It all eventually led to me taking these photos, which are fairly rubbish, but I like them. Although in some of them, the tree looks as if it's on fire, it really isn't. The contrast between the light and dark confuses me, in an intriguing way. X
