Today it has rained non stop and this weekend I'm hiking for 12 hours, lovely.
So anyway out of laziness I'm not going to take any outfit pictures, so I'm just going to tell you about my volunteer job. Basically I had to volunteer for an hour a week somewhere for my D of E and out of the 7 other charity shops in my town, I chose Banardos. Which happened be a brilliant choice because about a month after I started a new manager took over. What she then did was turn the upstairs (used to be mens) into a vintage shop. It is such a gorgeous place full of; bunting across the ceiling; an old wardrobe full of beautiful clothes; postcards stuck to the walls and about a million gorgeous scarfs. What makes it even more wonderful though is that it has all been donated, it is proof that you can find all this in a normal charity shop.
So far with my staff discount I have bought a sleeveless cardi and a book. The book was £2 and at the front of the book there is an adorable letter wishing someone Merry Christmas from 1935. I decided to cut a hole in it to hide my friends birthday present. Think about it afterwards I searched it on the internet only to find it was on ebay for £30, am I stupid or what? Take my advice and don't cut a first edition book from 1935. X

We heart it

Oh! That first edition book business sounds like rotten luck.

That is such bad luck with the book, but I would have done exactly the same thing! ♥

Hey, sorry i haven't been here for a while! I think i am having the same problems as you; I am tired ALL THE TIME and can never quite bring myself to get organized (which would, technically save me time). Anyway, your volunteer work sounds amazing and your blog is still brilliant- even if you're not blogging as much as you did- hope the weekend goes well for you. :)
