English Summer

The next few days prepare to be overloaded with excessive ammounts of photos, including me, nature and some animals...

This was when I spent a week in the countryside at my Grandads house, it involved almost everything an English Summer should be; 99 icecreams, rain, walks through the countryside, canal boats, picnics, WW2 songs, straw boaters, picking fresh fruit and pub lunches.

Slo berries
The weeping tree, wasn't intentional but when the faces was put in, wax appeared under the eyes.

My grandad has the most amazing garden and house ever, there is the most adorable stream running right through the middle.

With my camera, walking boots and hat at the ready, I took of to the beautiful English countryside to go on a 10 mile walk with my family. My feet are still aching; and sorry about the overload of sheep pictures, I just couldn't resist. Also I failed to mention this in my last post but my camera is broken, the screen has some weird lines through, fortunately it still takes pictures. However my family seems not able to take pictures of me with the whole of my hat showing. My cameras screen not working is no excuse for my poor quality pictures, that's down to me having no proper camera skills. Also I'm getting behind with my posts as I have lots of pictures to show you of my holiday; including camping, a journey and a bike on water? X

English country life

Unlike the average British person, I do not put shorts on the moment I spot the slightest bit of sun; I prefer to wait until I absolutely have to wear them. To be honest I much prefer winter clothes to summer clothes, and I mostly enjoy it when it rains (unless my hair is straightened) as I can hold an umbrella without weird glances. My favourite month is Autumn because of the beautiful colours of the leaves and Summer would have to come a sad last if there was no six week holiday. I hate it when it is sunny but freezing; that's far worse than windy and freezing. Anyway the outfit below is inspired by English country life and surprisingly everything I'm wearing is quite thin, as opposed to thick and doesn't make you hot at all. The trousers were a great bargain, £5 from tesco; all I had to do was alter them from a size 12 to 6. What makes it even more English is my union jack socks! X

I don't even like tea

After spending years trawling through blog after blog, I decided to have a go; after all it could be fun. There are millions of blogs out there and I want this one to be about my individual take on fashion, trends and my life. So here goes if I get boring and start waffling on about the politics of fashion please tell me. You may wonder why I’m called ‘Fashion Teapot’ well that’s basically because I couldn’t think of anything else, also I live in England and we drink tea from teapots. Yes I know we are cool, ok, so now I do feel strange having a conversation with the computer. Anyway this was jolly good, cheerio for now. X
